EASIER SAID THAN DONE:
FROM INSPIRATION TO RESOLUTION
Art Show by Frank Greco
“This body of work attempts to illustrate my fascination with the meandering line that follows the form into space and back, and the illusive geometry of composition and arrangement,” Greco explained.
PROCESS
Art Show by Patricia Avellan
Opening Reception
Saturday, October 25 from 2 to 4 pm
Since Avellan's first exhibition at the park in 2017, her lines have unfolded into new moods, new freedoms—a journey still in motion. For her, the line is never fixed. It does not delimit; it connects. It meanders, returns, evolves. “Process” affirms that nothing in art—or life—is static. Every line has its own form, its own light, its own existence. And like life itself, each line carries its own solitude, its own tender sadness.
A DOLL'S HOUSE, PART 2
by Lucas Hnath
FREE Play Readings by Connecticut Theater Exchange
Saturday, Oct 25, 2025 at 6 pm
Sunday, Oct 26, 2025 at 3 pm
In Lucas Hnath's smart, funny, and utterly engrossing response to Henrik Ibsen's famous play, it has been 15 years since Nora Helmer famously walked out with a "door slam heard around the world". Now Nora knocks on that door again with an urgent request, forcing her to engage with those she left behind. Part 2 delivers explosive laughs alongside thoughtful questions about gender equality, marriage, human rights, and responsibility to the self and others.
Due to limited seating, advanced registration is required for these free readings.
